Dusty Rhodes Classic

WWE has made a minor change to the tournament bracket, the 2018 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic on Friday afternoon. The original brackets announced Friday morning had SAnitY vs. Tino Sabbatelli & Riddick Moss in the first round of the left side while TM-61 vs. The Authors of Pain was listed at the top of the right side in the first round.

Those two matches were switched to opposite sides. You can see the updated bracket below with the changes made:

First Round

  • The Street Profits vs. Heavy Machinery
  • TM61 vs. The Authors of Pain
  • Tino Sabbatelli & Riddick Moss vs. Alexander Wolfe & Eric Young
  • Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch vs. Tyler Bate & Trent Seven

Semi-Finals

  • The Street Profits or Heavy Machinery vs. TM61 or The Authors of Pain
  • Tino Sabbatelli & Riddick Moss or Alexander Wolfe & Eric Young vs. Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch or Tyler Bate & Trent Seven

My Thoughts:

This tournament has been a fantastic since the very first one. TM61 is the favorite for most people. Sanity and Authors Of Pain while the more experienced teams, look to be moving up. If you ask me I would like to see TM61 and Bate/Seven in the finals. However unlike most people I would like to see the United Kingdom pairing take the win. This in my opinion would launch both teams onto a new level. TM61 doesn’t need the win and this loss could setup both teams for success.

Who would you like to see in the finals? How about the winners? Let us know below in the comment section or on Twitter.

WWE MITB Rollins vs. Elias

Elias entertained the crowd with his vocal and guitar stylings before challenging Seth Rollins for his WWE Intercontinental Championship at WWE Money In The Bank.

The WWE’s resident Fighting Champion (it’s a hashtag now, you know) started off hot, and has the Chicago crowd strongly behind him.

Elias had a great mid-match surge that really brought the crowd to life, and proved that the vagabond can indeed hang with the very best in WWE.

Seth Rollins did pull out the win in the end–literally! Rollins used a handful of tights to gain the pinfall win over Elias, a move that can only be seen as a way to drive home the efforts of Elias. We obviously haven’t seen the last of this match-up.

WWE MITB Lashley vs. Zayn

After weeks of needling him, Sami Zayn finally stepped into the ring across from Bobby Lashley in the second match of the night at WWE Money In The Bank.

Lashley wanted to come out hot and heavy, but Zayn repeatedly took to the outside to stall and slow things down. Once Lashley got his hands on Zayn, the power game was on display.

Zayn tried, but it was to no avail as Bobby Lashley finished things off after a series of vertical suplexes.

WWE MITB: Daniel Bryan vs. Big Cass

Published

Daniel Bryan received an enormous pop from the Chicago crowd when he entered the arena for his Money in The Bank PPV-opening match against Big Cass.

As expected, Big Cass took control early, using his size and strength advantage against his smaller (yet way more popular) opponent.

Daniel Bryan continued to show his mean streak (he’s a face, but it’s okay), in chopping the big man down.

Cass was able to make a comeback, but it was for naught as Daniel Bryan was successful in securing the submission win with the Heel Hook.
