Undisputed Era NXT Takeover

Roderick Strong was given the opportunity to select a partner and enter the 2018 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic when injury forced Mustache Mountain out of the bracket. Strong ultimately selected WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne, and the duo made it to the finals against The Authors Of Pain. When The Undisputed ERA attacked both teams, the triple threat match for both the Dusty Cup and the NXT Tag Team Championships was made for Takeover: New Orleans.

The Undisputed ERA retained the tag team titles when Roderick Strong turned on Pete Dunne, breaking up his pinfall on Kyle O’Reilly and hitting him with the End Of Heartache. Strong handed Cole & O’Reilly the tag team championships and took Cole’s Undisputed ERA armband, wearing it out of the ring. Strong, Cole, O’Reilly, and Bobby Fish (on crutches) posed on the stage.
