As it was noted, Ring Of Honor star Jay Lethal was injured at the co-promotional War Of The Worlds Tour event in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on Friday night (which you can find results of here, the injury story can be found here). There have been little details on the nature and severity of Lethal’s injury or when he may be able to return, putting a bit of a damper on the War Of The Worlds Tour as this comes on the heels of ROH World Champion Dalton Castle being pulled from shows due to nagging injuries (check that out here).
According to Dave Meltzer on F4WOnline, Lethal was hurt towards the end of the main event in Toronto, a 6-Man Tag that saw him partner with Kenny King & Colt Cabana against Los Ingobernables de Japon. Lethal took sunset flip powerbomb bump to the floor, which is reportedly the cause of the injury. It’s also being said that Lethal was having trouble with his memory after the match, causing him to be put on the shelf for the time being. While it sounds like a concussion, there are still no specifics on the injury or how long he’ll be out for.
