During the WWE’s European Tour recently, rumors swirled regarding SmackDown Live Superstar Big Cass as he worked a number of events hobbled (find that story here). There was a lot of speculation that the big man had re-injured his surgically repaired knee, but on the other hand he had been the victim of an attack to the same leg courtesy of Daniel Bryan on SmackDown two weeks back (you can check that out here).
Cass was subsequently pulled from his scheduled Money In The Bank Qualifying Match last week on SmackDown against US Champion Jeff Hardy, being replaced by the man who injured him, Daniel Bryan (you can find that here). According to PWInsider, Big Cass is set to return to the road for WWE this week, therefore he will be at SmackDown Live tomorrow.
EA’s Take: Guys, this is a work. I’ve been saying it’s a work. Just watch. This goes down one of two ways…tomorrow night with Bryan set to face Samoa Joe for a spot in the MITB match, Cass interferes and Joe wins. The other option, Bryan advances over Joe and Cass costs him the match AT MITB. I’m telling you, he’s not injured and never was. Does nobody else see the convenience of him going back on the road now? LOGIC!
