After being advertised for the April WWE Greatest Royal Rumble event and then not appearing, there was speculation that WWE Superstar Big Show had suffered a setback in his recovery from hip surgery (check that out here). While some believed that the former WWE Champion had retired from the ring, Big Show stated in interviews that he would also be back for WrestleMania, which didn’t happen. This came on the heels of a report that he had also signed a new WWE contract (you can find that here).
Big Show recently appeared on The Steve Austin Show on PodcastOne and gave details on his new WWE deal which is for three years, but with a much more limited role that will also see him work as a brand ambassador. Additionally, ‘The Giant’ also confirmed that he did suffer a setback that caused him to undergo another procedure for an infection, causing him to pull out of the Greatest Royal Rumble.
