WWE News: Huge Match Being Advertised For WWE Evolution

Published

WWE Alexa Bliss Money In the Bank

As NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV is now just under an hour away, it’s not too early to start looking ahead to WWE’s upcoming pay-per-views, more specifically, Evolution on October 28th from the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York.

With tonight’s TakeOver being not far away from the Nassau Coliseum, fans in attendance got to see some advertisements for WWE’s first-ever all women’s pay-per-view event that will feature Superstars from RAW, SmackDown Live, NXT, NXT UK and the Finals of the Mae Young Classic, in addition to WWE Hall Of Famers and Legends. One such advertisement tonight has spoiled a huge singles match for the event that will see Alexa Bliss take on arguably the most popular women’s Superstar of all-time, Trish Stratus:

WWE News: Shinsuke Nakamura Comments On His Future With WWE

Published

on

After it was noted recently that the contracts of WWE Superstars AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson and Shinsuke Nakamura will all be expiring in early-2019 (read that here), many fans have believed that if any of the four were to not re-sign with the company, Nakamura would be the most likely candidate with his deal coming up in January.

Of course, Shinsuke’s home country is Japan, which fueled the thought that the current WWE United States Champion could be looking to return to New Japan Pro Wrestling next year. Yesterday, Nakamura spoke with Sky Sports and commented on the talk that his time here in the USA was not long-term:

“Who said that? Moving to the U.S. is a big decision for my family. It’s a long-term thing. Rumors say, ‘Shinsuke Nakamura’s contract expires [and] New Japan— ,’ okay. New Japan didn’t make contact with me.”

Shinsuke was then asked if he would be looking to spend more time in the United States:

“Probably, but depends on [money].”

EA’s Take: I still believe that of the four, Shinsuke is still the most likely to leave. While I can’t imagine what it’s like to move to another country, especially on the other side of the world, I have moved across country from my home state before and there’s definitely an element on home-sickness. At the same time, I was a young, single (still am), guy with no kids (also still am), so there were a lot less factors to consider for me. Plus, the reason I made that move was for money. Although, I’m pretty sure WWE would step up to the plate to keep him around, especially considering his work since turning heel has been arguably the best of his WWE tenure.
