ROH News: Results From State Of The Art In Dallas, Texas (6/16/18)

Published

on

While the WWE Universe was focused squarely on last night’s NXT TakeOver: Chicago II, Ring Of Honor continued its State Of The Art tour, following Friday night’s show in San Antonio, Texas (which you can find results of here) by rolling into the city of ‘America’s Team’, Dallas.

All of Ring Of Honor’s biggest stars were in action including The Young Bucks, Cody, The Kingdom, Silas Young and Jay Lethal, in addition to The Briscoes who had missed State Of The Art San Antonio due to travel issues. ROH World Champion Dalton Castle again did not compete however, as he continues nursing some nagging injuries (you can read about that here). Also, we saw the crowning of a new ROH Television Champion.

Below are the full results:

  • Dark Match: Rhett Titus defeated Dirty Andy Dalton
  • Tenille Dashwood defeated Thunder Rosa
  • The Young Bucks defeated The Boys
  • ROH World Six-Man Titles: The Kingdom retained over Team CMLL (Guerrero Maya Jr, Stuka Jr, & Atlantis)
  • Triple Threat: Marty Scurll defeated Flip Gordon & Jay Lethal
  • Hurricane Helms, Delirious & Mini-Delirious defeated SoCal Uncensored
  • ROH World Tag Team Titles: The Briscoes retained over Killer Elite Squad
  • Cody defeated Shane Taylor
  • 6-Man Proving Ground Match: Punishment Martinez defeated Hangman Page, Scorpio Sky, Cheeseburger, Jonathan Gresham & Silas Young
  • ROH Television Title: Punishment Martinez defeated Silas Young

Bray Wyatt Says ‘Goodbye’ On Twitter, Will Find His ‘True Calling’

WWE Bray Wyatt
What in the world is going on with Bray Wyatt?

It’s been quite some time now since we last saw WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt on television, as he has been absent since his now-former tag team partner Matt Hardy was sidelined with what could be a career-ending wear and tear issue.

Now with tonight’s RAW bringing across the promise of change and “fresh starts” from Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, Shane McMahon and Triple H, ‘The Eater Of Worlds’ took to Twitter with some very unusual posts. Granted, the unusual certainly has never escaped Bray Wyatt’s Twitter feed as his followers know, however these were of a much different variety as he would say “This is goodbye”:

Of course at this time there’s no word on what exactly this could mean for Bray, as speculation is abound already. It should be noted that previously there had been reports WWE was considering a major change for Wyatt’s character. However, more recently it was said that The Wyatt Family could be reuniting (check that out here), but that was now two months ago.

WWE News: WWE Hypes Return Of Another Injured Superstar

Kevin Owens Three Stars Raw
WWE airs a vignette for the return of another Superstar!

Earlier tonight on Monday Night RAW (if you haven’t been tuning in, you can keep up with Mitchell’s Live Report) we saw a vignette air for the return of Sami Zayn (read more on that here), who has been out of action after undergoing surgery on both shoulders.

As the show rolled on into our RAW Women’s Championship #1 Contender’s Gauntlet Match, coming back from a commercial we got some more video hype for the return of another Superstar who’s been on the shelf. After being written off of television to have surgery on both of his knees back in October (see the story here), the WWE Universe can rejoice as WWE promoted the return of Kevin Owens.

At last word, it was expected ‘The Prize Fighter’ would be out of action anywhere from 4-8 months (find that here), however the last word was that the belief was Owens could be cleared by WrestleMania in April.
