The rivalry between SmackDown Live Superstars Daniel Bryan and Big Cass heated up further this week on Tuesday’s episode of the blue brand, as Cass interrupted the opening segment involving Bryan and Samoa Joe. Bryan and Joe had been scheduled for the main event in a singles match where the winner would earn the final spot in the Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match on June 17th, however Big Cass was able to insert himself into the bout.
By the night’s end, the issues between the two could not be resolved and ultimately cost them both an opportunity at MITB as Joe was able to sneak up behind Bryan, tapping him out with the Coquina Clutch. Since ‘The Leader of the Yes Movement’ and ‘The Seven-Footer’ can’t seem to squash their beef, WWE has now made a rematch between the two official for MITB in just over two weeks. Previously, the two squared off at Backlash in May with Bryan earning the victory with the Yes Lock. Below is WWE’s announcement via Twitter:
