The next installment of the WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament has kicked off today from London, England’s famed Royal Albert Hall with the Quarterfinals of the tournament taking place and then the overall tournament wrapping up tomorrow. While fans who aren’t in attendance won’t be able to watch until next Monday and Tuesday on the WWE Network, there was some huge news coming out of the tapings regarding the United Kingdom Division as a whole.

Previously, Triple H revealed that a big announcement would be coming (which you can read here) and we now know what that is. A new series showcasing the best of the United Kingdom and Ireland has been announced, called NXT UK, which will feature the United Kingdom Championship, currently held by Pete Dunne, but will also see the addition of two new championships, the UK Women’s Championship and UK Tag Team Titles:

Below is the full announcement from WWE, including Live Events that will also be used as tapings for the new series that start on July 29th:

Bray Wyatt Says ‘Goodbye’ On Twitter, Will Find His ‘True Calling’

WWE Bray Wyatt
What in the world is going on with Bray Wyatt?

It’s been quite some time now since we last saw WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt on television, as he has been absent since his now-former tag team partner Matt Hardy was sidelined with what could be a career-ending wear and tear issue.

Now with tonight’s RAW bringing across the promise of change and “fresh starts” from Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, Shane McMahon and Triple H, ‘The Eater Of Worlds’ took to Twitter with some very unusual posts. Granted, the unusual certainly has never escaped Bray Wyatt’s Twitter feed as his followers know, however these were of a much different variety as he would say “This is goodbye”:

Of course at this time there’s no word on what exactly this could mean for Bray, as speculation is abound already. It should be noted that previously there had been reports WWE was considering a major change for Wyatt’s character. However, more recently it was said that The Wyatt Family could be reuniting (check that out here), but that was now two months ago.

Kevin Owens Three Stars Raw
WWE airs a vignette for the return of another Superstar!

Earlier tonight on Monday Night RAW (if you haven’t been tuning in, you can keep up with Mitchell’s Live Report) we saw a vignette air for the return of Sami Zayn (read more on that here), who has been out of action after undergoing surgery on both shoulders.

As the show rolled on into our RAW Women’s Championship #1 Contender’s Gauntlet Match, coming back from a commercial we got some more video hype for the return of another Superstar who’s been on the shelf. After being written off of television to have surgery on both of his knees back in October (see the story here), the WWE Universe can rejoice as WWE promoted the return of Kevin Owens.

At last word, it was expected ‘The Prize Fighter’ would be out of action anywhere from 4-8 months (find that here), however the last word was that the belief was Owens could be cleared by WrestleMania in April.
