We’ve seen a lot of crossover over recent months when it comes to wrestling promotions. While WWE has only been just dipping their toes into working more with other companies (such as EVOLVE), there has been a lot more of it with regards to Ring Of Honor, New Japan Pro Wrestling, IMPACT Wrestling and Major League Wrestling.
More recently, MLW has been using a number of IMPACT talents for their programming and events with the likes of Sami Callihan, Su Yung and others. According to WrestlingInc, IMPACT officials recently reached out to MLW World Heavyweight Champion Low Ki about appearing for them at their shows in New York next month. It’s being said that even though MLW has used IMPACT stars for their shows, some feel IMPACT’s interest in using Low Ki was done only to hurt MLW.
While Low Ki has worked for IMPACT/TNA in years past, he declined their offer to appear next month out of loyalty to MLW. During Low Ki’s previous stints with IMPACT, he became a staple of the X Division while also using the name Senshi, winning the title on five occasions. He was also a three-time NWA World Tag Team Champion alongside Elix Skipper and Christopher Daniels when the company worked alongside the NWA. Low Ki last worked for IMPACT in 2017, leaving in August after reported financial and creative differences.
