Today marks exactly four months now since Chris Jericho defeated Tetsuya Naito for the IWGP Intercontinental Championship back on June 9th at Dominion. Yet, ‘Y2J’ has still not had his first title defense.
After making a surprise appearance at King Of Pro Wrestling yesterday and attacking EVIL, it was likely only a matter of time before Jericho’s first defense of his championship was announced. With New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Power Struggle coming up on November 3rd in Osaka, it has now been revealed EVIL will be the challenger for Jericho:
