WWE has got quite the plate full for the month of October into mid-November after Super Show-Down this past Saturday, Evolution on October 28th, Crown Jewel on November 2nd, then Survivor Series on November 18th.
Not to mention, SmackDown celebrates its 1000th episode next Tuesday night and WWE appears to be stacking up on the special appearances to honor the blue brand. We’ve heard how the company has reached out to The Rock (read that here), plus WWE Hall Of Famer Edge has been reportedly confirmed (see that here), on top of Batista returning for an Evolution reunion with Triple H, Randy Orton and Ric Flair, Vickie Guerrero, Teddy Long, Torrie Wilson, Michelle McCool, Rey Mysterio and The Undertaker.
With D-Generation X set to meet The Undertaker and Kane at Crown Jewel, ‘The Deadman’ being on SmackDown by himself would no longer make sense. With that said, PWInsider reports they have confirmed Kane will be in the house for SmackDown 1000.
As for the action that will take place, early advertisements in August listed AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe, Daniel Bryan vs. The Miz and Randy Orton vs. Jeff Hardy, however it’s very likely those plans have changed. SmackDown 1000 comes your way next Tuesday, October 16th at 8PM EST on the USA Network.
