WWE News: Edge Confirmed For Next Week’s SmackDown 1000

Published

on

Next week’s big 1000th episode of SmackDown Live continues to load up with more announced for the show as we’re now less than a week away from the celebration.

On last night’s SmackDown Live, The Undertaker was confirmed for the show, plus Rey Mysterio’s return match was revealed as he will take on United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura in a World Cup Qualifier. On top of that, Batista will be back for a reunion with Triple H, Ric Flair and Randy Orton as Evolution, not to mention reported names scheduled to be on-hand including Edge, Kane, Teddy Long, Vickie Guerrero, Michelle McCool and Torrie Wilson.

Today, WWE Hall Of Famer Edge’s role for the show has been confirmed as the company has announced he will be hosting another edition of his talk show segment The Cutting Edge. Previously, it wasn’t known for certain if the ‘Rated R Superstar’ would be at SmackDown 1000 after Edge himself tried to quell the initial reports.

At this time, it’s not known who Edge’s guest on The Cutting Edge will be. It’s also not known if his former tag partner and multi-time World Champion Christian will be at SmackDown 1000.
