WWE News: Jeff Hardy & Big Show Returning To SmackDown Live This Week

Despite the fact that we’re now only a day removed from yesterday’s Super Show-Down, WWE is already looking ahead to its next pay-per-view events, Evolution and Crown Jewel.

Crown Jewel will be the company’s second stint in Saudi Arabia this year and will feature not only a big Triple Threat for the Universal Championship, but a tournament that WWE is calling their World Cup. Today, WWE has announced two World Cup Qualifying matches for Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown Live that will see both Jeff Hardy and Big Show returning to the blue brand.

Hardy has been off of television since losing to Randy Orton at Hell In A Cell, meanwhile Big Show has been on the shelf since September of 2017, last competing on Monday Night RAW in a Steel Cage match against Braun Strowman. ‘The Charismatic Enigma’ will face a stiff challenge, as he faces Samoa Joe coming off his loss against AJ Styless for the WWE Title at Super Show-Down. As for Big Show, he will square-off with the man who defeated Hardy inside Hell In A Cell, Randy Orton.

While it has yet to be confirmed, it’s believed more Qualifying matches could take place tomorrow night on RAW.
