As we turn the page away from Super Show-Down, we’re now less than three weeks away from WWE’s first ever all women’s pay-per-view, Evolution, from the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York.
To this point, only three matches for the event have been confirmed as WWE Hall Of Famer Trish Stratus returns to the ring to face Alexa Bliss, Mickie James renews an old rivalry against WWE Hall Of Famer Lita, plus Kairi Sane will defend the NXT Women’s Title against Shayna Baszler.
We also know that the Finals of the Mae Young Classic will take place (for spoilers go here), on top of Ronda Rousey defending the RAW Women’s Championship which is rumored to be against Nikki Bella. Not to mention, with the rivalry between SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair still running hot, it’s likely those two will meet again in some capacity.
Today, PWInsider is reporting they have confirmed a number of NXT Superstars will be at Evolution, however their involvement is not yet known. It’s being said Io Shirai, Bianca Belair, Candice LeRae, Dakota Kai, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir will take part in some fashion, the early speculation being Shafir and Duke will somehow be involved with Shayna Baszler, Ronda Rousey or both.
You can catch WWE Evolution live on pay-per-view and the WWE Network on Sunday, October 28th at 7PM EST.
