WWE Rumors: Plans Reportedly In Place For Big 5-On-5 Match At Survivor Series

Survivor Series

2018 was supposed to see less pay-per-views with the WWE switching to dual branded events, but we’ve seen a surge in the number of those big shows this Fall with four in the next month.

After Super Show-Down, Evolution and Crown Jewel comes WWE’s annual November tradition, the Survivor Series, emanating this year from the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The last two Survivor Series events focused on RAW vs. SmackDown Live angles, however this year the main storylines likely will not revolve around “brand wars”. We’ve already heard that plans were in place for Shawn Michaels to face The Undertaker and there is still the rumored Horsewomen vs. Horsewomen showdown.

However, the WrestleVotes Twitter account (which has broken stories in the past) is reporting that another match will likely see RAW General Manager Kurt Angle lead a team of five in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Interim RAW General Manager Baron Corbin and his four partners:

It should be noted that while in storyline Angle is on a “forced vacation”, he has been training hard for a ring return during his absence. Currently, it’s being speculated that Angle could be returning to television after Crown Jewel, but that has not been confirmed.
