Wyatt quickly delivers Sister Abigail, hooks the leg and finishes it.
Winners & Sole Survivors: Bray Wyatt & Randy Orton

  • EA’s TakeEasily the best Traditional match of the night. Maybe it’s just me, but it seems there have been some sloppy spots in all of them though. I think we are seeing how much familiarity with your opponent is important because these guys don’t all work together anymore and that’s possibly why there have been some rough spots. Shane looked like he was legit knocked out, he actually kicked out when he got eliminated, likely doing so just out of instinct because I don’t think he knew where he was. After two wins by RAW tonight, SmackDown picking up the victory here seemed inevitable.

Match #6: Brock Lesnar w/Paul Heyman vs. Goldberg
The bell rings and Brock powers Goldberg into the corner, Goldberg is unfazed, shoves Lesnar to the canvas, then delivers a Spear as he stands back up. Goldberg measures and splits him with another Spear, The Conqueror struggles back to his feet, Goldberg hooks him for a Jackhammer and hits it for the 1-2-3.
Winner: Goldberg

  • EA’s TakeWhat in the world?!?! I can’t believe that this match just ended like this and I may be in the minority here, but this is a total let-down. We all anticipated we’d get a better match than WrestleMania XX, but I don’t know that I can say we did. Was the crowd into it? Hell yes. Was it way too quick in my opinion? Hell yes. This makes me think that perhaps Goldberg may not be finished in the ring for good. Honestly, I am still in shock at how this played out. What an easy payday for Lesnar & Goldberg.

EA’s FinisherOverall, I’m pretty disappointed with this entire show. The traditional matches were exactly what I thought they’d be, which if you’ve seen any of them over the years of Survivor Series, you’ve pretty much seen them all. Goldberg/Lesnar was a complete let-down in my eyes. It was like we were in the midst of Goldberg’s streak again, the match finishing in less than three minutes. No title changes which I expected, but I thought we’d at least get some surprises, like perhaps an Undertaker appearance or something. I never was a big fan of this “brand warfare” stuff from the beginning and I am looking forward to getting back to the brand-exclusive events next month.
