IMPACT Wrestling will be staying with Pop TV…at least for a little while longer!
As we’ve noted previously, IMPACT Wrestling, who now has a new 10 PM time slot, has been looking for a new home to air their television program as their current deal with Pop TV expires at the end of the year (read that story here).
IMPACT officials reportedly haven’t been happy with their current arrangement and while there’s been no news on any kind of move to another network as of yet, it now appears as if they will be sticking around on Pop TV for a bit longer. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that IMPACT Wrestling will continue airing on the network for the early part of 2019, but there’s been no word on exactly how much longer that means.
For those who have been tuning in to IMPACT lately probably noticed a teaser for the AroLucha promotion. Currently, there’s been some speculation that should IMPACT decide to renew with Pop TV, they would stay at their 10 PM slot with Aro Lucha being at either 8 PM or 9 PM. Of course, that is purely rumor at this point. For those unfamiliar with Aro Lucha, one of the company’s owners is current WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio.
