NJPW News: Results From Today’s Power Struggle In Osaka (11/3/18)

New Japan Pro Wrestling finished off their Road To Power Struggle tour on Thursday in Shizuoka, heading off today to Osaka for its big Power Struggle event.

Today’s lineup finally saw the return of IWGP Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho for his first title defense, as he was challenged by EVIL from Los Ingobernables de Japon. Also, Hirooki Goto challenged Taichi for the NEVER Openweight Title and we saw the Finals of the 2018 Super Junior Tag League in a Triple Threat Match. Below are the results:

  • Ryusuke Taguchi, ACH, Chris Sabin & Toa Henare defeated Soberano Jr, Volador Jr, Jyushin Thunder Liger & Tiger Mask
  • The Guerrillas Of Destiny & Robbie Eagles defeated KUSHIDA, Togi Makabe & Tomoaki Honma
  • Jay White & Bad Luck Fale defeated Kazuchika Okada & Beretta
  • Kota Ibushi & Kenny Omega defeated David Finlay & Hiroshi Tanahashi
  • Super Junior Tag League Finals Triple Threat: Roppongi 3K defeated El Desperado & Yoshinobu Kanemaru, BUSHI & Shingo Takagi
  • NEVER Openweight Title: Hirooki Goto defeated Taichi to become the new champion
  • Revolution Pro Wrestling British Heavyweight Title: Tomohiro Ishii retained over Minoru Suzuki
  • Tetsuya Naito defeated Zack Sabre Jr.
  • IWGP Intercontinental Title: Chris Jericho retained over EVIL
