Your weekly look at the YouTube performance for WWE 205 Live, airing on Wednesdays on the WWE Network.
As we all know, social media and other outlets have become a huge means of drawing in interaction and viewers for WWE. Most people will point to television ratings like they did during the Monday Night Wars in the late 1990’s, however that can be skewed with so many various means of watching today that do not include cable television.
WWE 205 Live YouTube Report (4:30PM EST, 11/12/18)
(Original air-date 11/7/2018)
- Lio Rush vs. Josh Morrell – 163k views
- Kalisto & Lince Dorado vs. TJP & Mike Kanellis – 82k views
- Buddy Murphy vs. Mark Andrews – 57k views
Lio Rush is living up to his own billing on WWE Monday Night Raw with his performances on 205 Live. Rush took the top spot this week , nearly doubling the closest video with his match against Josh Morrell.
It’s smart for 205 Live to feature Rush, thanks to his weekly presence on WWE Monday Night Raw alongside Bobby Lashley (even if it’s slightly annoying to have him chant during Lashley’s matches).
Tag team action took the second spot, as the well oiled machine of Lucha House Party members Kalisto & Lince Dorado took on the makeshift team of Mike Kanellis and the winner of the original Cruiserweight Classic (and first modern-day WWE Cruiserweight Champion) TJP. This group delivered just over 80k views on YouTube.
Bringing up the rear was the current Cruiserweight Champion, Buddy Murphy, as his non-title affair with Mark Andrews brought in 57k views on YouTube. Should the champion be delivering at a higher level?
