WWE News: WWE Confirms Hulk Hogan’s Role At Crown Jewel

Published

on

As we noted yesterday, WWE Hall Of Famer Hulk Hogan’s profile popped up event page on WWE.com under the advertised talent for tomorrow’s Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia, which would mark his first appearance for the company since being reinstated into the Hall Of Fame back in July (see the story here).

Later on in the day however, Hogan’s profile was removed from the page, leading some fans to think it was a mistake or at the very least, the company was trying to cover up the surprise. Of course, there are also those who saw it as a way for WWE to “cover its tracks” because of adding a controversial figure (Hogan) to an event (Crown Jewel) that’s already been ridiculed by fans, media and even United States Senators.

According to multiple sources, WWE has confirmed that Hogan will in fact be at Crown Jewel and is set to host the event. At this time it’s not known exactly what that means or how much he will be used, but it’s expected to be similar to his role at WrestleMania XXX in 2014.

You can catch Crown Jewel live on on the WWE Network tomorrow at 12PM EST and as always, keep up with the action right here on The Chairshot with Mitchell’s Live Report.
