Chris Sabin
Chris Sabin suffered injury at last night’s Saturday Night At Center Stage!

As has been noted, Ring Of Honor held their first event of 2019 last night with their Saturday Night At Center Stage television tapings in Atlanta, Georgia (check out the spoilers here).

Among the night’s action was a Six-Way that featured Kenny King, Shane Taylor, Luchasaurus, Chris Sabin, Flip Gordon and Rhett Titus, but unfortunately one competitor was unable to finish the match. According to PWInsider through a source in attendance, Sabin suffered an injury during the contest after taking a bump.

It’s being said that after the bump, Sabin rolled out of the ring and grabbed at his knee, which he has had multiple, major surgeries on twice before in 2011 and 2012. Sabin was checked on by ROH trainers and did not get back involved in the match. By the end of it, trainers would be helped out of the arena.

PWInsider has since confirmed the injury was not a work and Sabin will be getting checked out once he returns back home. At this time any other details are pretty scarce on Sabin’s status, but The Chairshot will provide any further information on the former IMPACT World Champion as it becomes available.

WWE News: Another WWE Superstar Reportedly Out With Injury

Akam
A new report says another WWE Superstar has been out with an injury!

It’s been a few weeks now since the WWE Universe last saw former RAW Tag Team Champions AOP, last appearing on television on the December 17th edition of Monday Night RAW in a Fatal 4-Way Match.

Since then, AOP has only worked one date which was WWE’s Live Event at Madison Square Garden on December 26th where the duo again took a loss, this time in a Triple Threat for the titles (check out those results here). Today, a new report has shed a little bit of light on AOP’s whereabouts.

According to Dave Meltzer on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Akam is currently out of action with an unspecified leg injury, which is why we haven’t seen the team in a few weeks. While details on the exact nature of the injury are not yet known, Meltzer notes that it’s expected Akam will be on the shelf for “at least a few months”. Currently, it’s also not known if WWE will continue to leave Rezar off of events until Akam returns or if there are any plans in the works for him to compete in singles competition.

Stick with The Chairshot for further updates on Akam’s status as they become available.
