Tonight’s episode of RAW featured two qualifying matches for the Women’s Tag Team Championship Elimination Chamber Match that will take place Sunday, February 17th at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.

The first match featured Alexa Bliss and Mickie James teaming up to take on Nia Jax and Tamina, which was won by Tamina and Nia. The second match would see Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan defeat the team of Dana Brooke and Natalya. There are now four spots remaining.

Jason’s Take
I am excited for the Elimination Chamber match, but a bit surprised that Alexa and Mickie did not qualify. My thinking is they will be a part of a second chance qualifying match in the weeks to come. It was also nice to see the Riott Squad pick up the victory to qualify as well. If they do not win the Chamber match, they are deserving of a tag title reign at some point. Right now, Sasha and Bayley would have to be the favorites to win, though they have yet to qualify. However, I could see a scenario that would see Bayley and Sasha finally turning on each other, leading to a match at WrestleMania.
