Did the WWE accidentally give away Undertaker’s Hall Of Fame induction?
For members of the WWE Universe who are also subscribers to the WWE Network (which is a pretty good amount), there was some excitement today if you enjoy classic wrestling as the service has added episodes of WWF Superstars from April of 1992 to December of 1992 today.
However, there was another little caveat which has gotten fans talking in WWE.com’s article on the new additions. Originally, this was included in the article which has led many to believe that we could be seeing The Undertaker inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame this year:
“Witness WWE Hall Of Famers The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, and more.”
Now, WWE.com has altered their article to say the following:
“Start the new year with more than 25 exciting new hours of Superstarsfrom the 1990s, and witness many future WWE Hall of Famers in action, including The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Yokozuna, Ric Flair, Mr. Perfect, the Legion of Doom and more.”
EA’s Take: This is a tough one because it really could just be an honest mistake. Lord knows we certainly have had some here at The Chairshot. On the other hand, someone working for WWE.com very well could have ruined an announcement. He clearly will be in someday, but does he want to do it while he’s still semi-active? I’m not so sure. I hate to leave you with this overused saying, but only time will tell.
