Was the All Elite Wrestling television home revealed to be WarnerMedia/Turner Sports today?
A revealing tweet surfaced today that could show us the home for the much anticipated All Elite Wrestling television show, slated to debut in October. Jim Ross already indicated that AEW will have a 2-hour, weekly show on a major network (at least, one that’s easy to find).
Today’s tweet comes form @fightoracle (rumored to be MMA Insider Front Row Brian, who had his original account suspended), so take it with a grain of salt.
-BREAKING- @WarnerMediaGrp aka Turner Sports (TNT, TBS) will present @AEWrestling at their upfronts to advertisers next month. WarnerMedia/Turner upfronts are currently scheduled for May 15th. This is how Networks announce their content lineup for the fall season to advertisers.

Greg DeMarco’s Take
It’s important to keep in mind that WarnerMedia’s Sports division owns several sports & entertainment (sports entertainment?) properties, not TBS and TNT. They own Bleacher Report, BR Live (Bleacher Report’s streaming sports entity), Turner sports, and AT&T Regional Sports Networks. They could easily distribute content to TBS, TNT, and TruTV. So this means it’s as likely that AEW ends up on BR Live as TBS or TNT. Either way, the good news here is the product should be easy to consume, which is key to growing an audience from the non-hardcore fans.
Elisa looks great in her Chairshot t-shirts. You can too!
