Chris King is hopeful for the future of 205 Live, and how having the brand under the NXT umbrella is fantastic news.

Over the past six months, we’ve seen amazing superstars travel from one brand to another such as Kassius Ohno, the Cruiserweight Champion Drew Gulak, Apollo Crews, and last night on 205 Live the Japanese sensation Kushida to name a few.

Kushida was The Extraordinary Gentleman Jack Gallagher’s surprise tag team partner for his match against The Brian Kendrick and Akira Tozawa.

The Vice President of Talent Relations and NXT’s brainchild Triple H recently discussed the future of 205 Live.

 

For nearly a year, there has been speculation that the purple brand would be getting canceled. Thankfully, not only will the amazing high-flying Cruiserweights continue to shine but they will be able to showcase their talents on all three brands.

Imagine Johnny Gargano facing the vindictive and ruthless Drew Gulak, or the NXT Champion Adam Cole going one-on-one with Humberto Carrillo. The possibilities are endless, and knowing that the future of the purple brand will be in the hands of Triple H they have nothing to worry about. The future is now, and the future is NXT!
