Winner: Rey Fenix, by pinfall

INCREDIBLE! There was no ring rust when it comes to being singles wrestlers, this was an amazing match! But in the end, Fenix still has more singles experience in the year 2019 so that was his advantage. And there is no hard feelings for Nick, he offers a handshake. But Fenix rejects it? Well in the end, Fenix won and keeps going strong for both himself and his brother, Pentagon. Will the Lucha Brothers climb back up towards a rematch for the AEW World Tag Team Championships?

Britt Baker VS Hikaru Shida!

The Doctor is in Indy, and she is on a roll! However, so is the samurai of Stardom. Ranked the #1 and #2 contenders, Britt and Shida would both love another match with Riho for THE AEW Women’s World Championship. But who will come out THE one most likely to get it?

What is the Dark Order all about?

A man walks alone in a subway terminal. Another man bumps him and makes him drop his glasses. Then a third man purposefully steps on those glasses, and mockingly says, “I’m sorry.” The bullies walk away and laugh. The man picks up his broken glasses. He gets on the subway and sits down. “Are you tired of being overlooked?” A video that plays speaks to those who feel alone. “Experience freedom like you’ve never felt before.” Before you can find yourself, you must lose yourself. “By joining us, you’ll become part of something bigger.” They promise to be your friends and biggest supporters. Think of them as that “exclusive club” you’ve always wanted to be part of. Stop losing. Become one of us. Stop living in chaos. Bring in a new order. The Dark Order. All you have to do is post #JOINDARKORDER, and they’ll find you.

Dynamite Dozen Battle Royale!

Twelve men in AEW who are looking for a huge opportunity will now do battle until only two remain in the ring! Those two then move on to next week’s Dynamite in Chicago, and will battle over the brand new Dynamite Diamond Ring. The lucky dozen are: Hangman Adam Page; Chuckie T; Orange Cassidy; Kip Sabian with Penelope Ford by his side; Jimmy Havoc; Jungle Boy; “Babysaurus” Marko Stunt; Pentagon with Fenix; Sonny Kiss; Joey Janela; Maxwell Jacob Freeman; and Billy Gunn! Wait, that’s not Fenix! That’s CHRISTOPHER DANIELS! He fools Pentagon again! The bell rings, Daniels ducks Pentagon’s punch, and Chuckie T dumps Pentagon out! Chuckie T ELIMINATES Pentagon! And from here, the remaining 11 brawl it out!

Cassidy moves out of the way of all the fighting, it’s not really his speed. Superbad Sabian sees him and heads over, but Cassidy easily dodges, sending Sabian out but through the middle and top rope. Sabian stays in the match, and then Chuckie dumps Janela through the middle rope. The Bad Boy is also safe, and Cassidy opens ropes for Chuckie to DIVE onto Sabian! Gunn whips Sonny but Sonny rolls off his back to twerk! Well Gunn is an ass man. Gunn wants to show off his buns? MJF ELIMINATES Sonny! Gunn is upset, but MJF tells the old man to relax. Sabian and Havoc and all the others go after the big Gunn! But he EXPLODES out! Gunn rocks Havoc and ELIMINATES Havoc with a clothesline! Stunt hops on but Gunn is barely bothered. Gunn bucks Stunt off and ELIMINATES him!

Havoc comes back illegally, and with a staple gun! He starts stapling Gunns’ stomach and groin! The absolute madman! Havoc staples Janela’s head! And Jungle Boy’s foot! And Chuckie’s balls! And Sabian’s hand! And Gunn’s forehead! The referees finally get in the ring as fans chant “You Sick F***!” The refs get the “Sick F***” out of the ring, but fans boo. The remaining wrestlers in the ring take a moment to compose themselves, and AEW will return after the break.

AEW returns and Sabian stomps down Chuckie and Cassidy. Jungle Boy clings to the post on the outside while Gunn and Hangman are down in other corners. MJF helps Superbad keep them all down with stomps. And for those wondering what happened to the Bad Boy, AEW shows us that during the break, The Chair Man attacked Janela again, and with a chair! Janela fell off the top rope, so he is eliminated as well as hurt. But Bad Girl Penelope Ford is cheering Superbad as he CHOPS Gunn. But Gunn gets mad, and pushes Sabian down! He ROCKS Hangman, Chuckie, MJF, Jungle Boy, and Sabian with heavy rights! BUt the Sloth rises! Fans fire up as Cassidy puts his hands in his pockets! Cassidy shin kicks! And shin kicks! And again! And then… MJF ELIMINATES Cassidy! MJF mocks the fans, but backs up into Gunn. Gunn warns MJF that was twice already, but MJF slaps his hand away! And shoves Gunn!

Gunn says “SUCK IT!” and then hits a FAMOUSER! Fans are thunderous as Gunn throws MJF out. But MJF skins the cat! Gunn storms over and drags MJF up by his face, but here comes WARDLOW! Gunn dares MJF’s muscle to do something, but MJF pokes Gunn in the eyes! BUCKSHOT from Hangman! Hangman ELIMINATES Gunn! Indy has a mixed reaction, but this is every man for himself, after all. Wardlow circles the ring as Hangman fires off! Hangman boots Sabian, decks Jungle Boy and spins Chuckie T around for a LARIAT! Hangman runs corner to corner but gets a Sexy Chuckie Knee! But Hangman still whips Chuckie at Sabian. Sabian puts Chuckie outside, but Chuckie forearms him and Hangman away. Sabian returns but is sent into buckles. Chuckie goes to get in but Penelope grabs his feet, Sabian’s triangle enziguri ELIMINATES Chuckie T!

Penelope gives Sabian a kiss, but Jungle Boy runs in to LEAPING Huricanrana and ELIMINATE Sabian! JB skins the cat to stay in, but he has just Hangman! Wait, these two aren’t the last two, MJF didn’t get eliminated! He YANKS JB off to ELIMINATE him! NOW we have our final two!

Winners: MJF and Hangman Page

Hangman rushes MJF for being a weasel, but MJF hits back! Wardlow gets up on the apron as referees hurry to keep this from breaking down! Fans want to “Let Them Fight!” but MJF always does what fans don’t want, so he leaves. Wardlow takes some convincing, but he leaves with his boss. When AEW arrives in Chicago, will Hangman be able to do some #RealCowboyShit to the self-proclaimed new face of AEW?

Chris Jericho walks backstage with Jake Hager.

Le Champeon mocks The Librarians, Peter Avalon and Leva Bates, as he and his savage pass by. They give Avalon a hard hat just in case. Jericho tosses their books around, not finding the value in any of them. Then Jericho and Hager move on, inspecting all the things lying around. They find broken hockey sticks, and then Jericho talks crap to a few other AEW wrestlers he comes across. Brandon Cutler and Mark Stunt, specifically. Something about Stunt’s hair and nipples? Jericho laughs as he mocks little Marko, but dares him to do something about it. AEW goes to break as Jericho continues talking down to the shortest wrestler in the company.

Chris Jericho heads to the ring!

AEW returns and Le Champeon has stopped berating the boys in the back to stand before Indianapolis! Jericho has a mic and tells Indy to sit down and shut up for his announcement. Fans boo instead. Jericho continues on to say that before his announcement, he wants to talk about his “temper tantrum” over his first loss. He was fined, and he admits the conduct was not what a true champion should show, certainly not of Le Champeon. Jericho says he’s “sossoss…” He is sincerely “sooosooo…” Jericho tells “Big Hurt” Hager to say it. “He says he’s sorry.” And to show just how sorry he is, Jericho’s announcement is for next week, AEW Chicago, he will get the “Thank you” that he rightfully deserves! He will finally be told “Thank you” by AEW executives, TNT executives and all of the fans watching around the world!

And to again say he is very sorry, the celebration will be in Chicago, not here in Indy. Chicago has a hockey team and two baseball teams, so it’s just a better town. Indy can watch from home as Dynamite hosts Jericho’s Thanksgiving Thank You Celebration for Le Champion! The greatest celebration in wrestling history! Games, prizes, and aquarium and maybe a clown. So again, so sorry it won’t be in this dump known as Indy, but he’ll still be looking good on their television. Adieu and good night.

But wait! Here comes SCU! And naturally, Scorpio Sky leads the way after having pinned Jericho himself last week. SCU joins Jericho and Hager in the ring, and Indy chants “SCU! SCU!” Jericho tells them to shut up but it gets louder. Scorpio says it is truly admirable. It takes a “paragon of virtue” to come out and apologize for what he’s done wrong. But… Jericho forgot why he threw that tantrum! Not only did SCU successfully defend the AEW World Tag Team Championships, Scorpio pinned Jericho for his first AEW loss. Fans love the sound of that! Scorpio has to admit, that was one of the greatest moments of his night! His DM’s are blowing up! Even his high school crush, Melanie Parsons, called, and they’re going out next week! And all thanks to Jericho! Scorpio is thanking and apologizing to Jericho. Scorpio is a big fan, he didn’t want to embarrass him.

Jericho says he wasn’t embarrassed. Also he knows Scorpio’s crush, Melanie put on a lot of weight since high school. Scorpio likes big butts and he cannot lie. Jericho thinks it’s “cuter than baby Yoda” that Scorpio thinks he really beat Jericho. Scorpio is a tag team specialist, a tag team champion, but he is not in Jericho’s lead. Jericho is the greatest of all time and will say this right now. Scorpio may have put a blemish on Jericho’s record, and they will have their singles rematch so Jericho can correct that, and then Jericho will wipe the floor with Scorpio. Daniels wants Jericho to keep his cool. This is a generous offer, but there needs to be time to prepare. A training camp, even, for a month or so. This isn’t a “next week” kind of thing. Oh really? No, one week! It has to be next week, because it will be the exclamation point on the Thanksgiving Thank You Celebration! One-on-one, Jericho VS Scorpio, in Chicago!

But if the match is happening, then it surely won’t be for the title. We all know how azy-cray Ericho-Jay gets over his itle-tay. Yeah, Scorpio doesn’t deserve that title match. Jericho agrees, he doesn’t deserve it. But what if it was a title match?! Scorpio doesn’t think he can handle Jericho for the title?! Well then it’s for the title! Jericho VS Scorpio, AEW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP! They shake hands, making it official. Gotcha. “You may not think I have a chance, but maybe I’ve been waiting 15 years for an opportunity just like this.” And then maybe next week, Scorpio wins to turn Le Champeon into Le Betch! Jericho and Hager brawl with SCU! But here come the rest of the Inner Circle, Sammy Guevara and Proud ‘n’ Powerful! They beat SCU down, and then have handcuffs!

The Inner Circle chains up Daniels and Kaz to ropes! Scorpio gets Hager’s knee in his chest, but here comes Michael Nakazawa and Brandon Cutler! They get knocked down fast! Then Hager feeds Scorpio to the JUDAS EFFECT! Le Champeon stands tall now, but here comes Marko Stunt! The littlest man runs in, only to get SMASHED by the belt! Jungle Boy hurries after Stunt and he dodges Jericho to throw forearms! Jericho clotheslines Jungle Boy back! But Luchasaurus shows up! Only Hager stays to face him! Fans are thunderous for this Godzilla VS King Kong type stare down! Hager tosses the watch away, but then decides not to fight. The Inner Circle take their leave, but will Jericho arrive in Chicago only to leave Le Former Champeon?

Peter Avalon w/ Leva Bates VS Luchasaurus!

As they make their way down the ramp, The Librarians hush Indy, as is their way. But with the mood the dominate dinosaur-human hybrid is in, will Avalon be the one silenced?

Avalon says it is good to have Luchasaurus back at full health. Life has found a way. But Avalon is still going to turn this fossil into motor oil! The bell rings, Avalon takes his time taking off his robe, and he falls for the feint to get the ROUNDHOUSE! Luchasaurus drags Avalon up to scoop him into tombstone position, but turns it into a FACEBUSTER! Cover with one hand, Luchasaurus wins!

Winner: Luchasaurus, by pinfall

Jurassic Express is back at full power, and are ready to roar their way up the rankings! Will everyone have to watch out for the rumblings of Luchasaurus?

Private Party VS Santana & Ortiz!

Proud ‘n’ Powerful already made their presence known alongside their Inner Circle comrades, but now they look to move up even higher after their Full Gear victory over the Young Bucks. But will they be left outside the VIP section with Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy ready to party their way to the top?

One thing that both teams do agree on is paying tribute to the late Matt Travis, a young man who Santana and Ortiz convinced to start wrestling as a way out of the hard life. The teams sort out and Kassidy starts against Santana. They circle and tie up, and Santana powers Kassidy to a corner. The ref calls for the break, and Santana gives Kassidy a stiff smack on the shoulder. Santana dares Kassidy to bring it up, and the two tie up again. Santana waistlocks and slams Kassidy down, then pie faces him. “Show me what you got, baby boy!” Kassidy gets up but keeps his cool as AEW goes picture in picture.

Santana and Kassidy circle and tie up again. Kassidy gets the waistlock now, then shifts to a full nelson. Kassidy then slips around to snapmare Santana down and crucifix him back, TWO! Santana swings, Kassidy dodges but his kick is blocked. Santana CHOPS Kassidy back! Santana whips Kassidy and follows up with an elbow! Santana runs, and runs Kassidy over! Kassidy springs up but the headscissor is blocked. Santana yanks Kassidy up but Kassidy arm-drags him away! Things speed up, Kassidy rolls off Santana’s back to arm-drag him again! And then dropkick him down! Santana backs off and regroups with Ortiz on the outside. Santana catches his breath while Ortiz grabs a chair. The ref warns Ortiz so he puts the chair down. Santana gets in and circles with Kassidy again as AEW goes to break.

AEW returns and now Quen and Ortiz are in, and Quen has Ortiz down. Quen brings Ortiz up but Ortiz rakes the eyes! And bites the ear! Tag to Santana, and Proud ‘n’ Powerful double whip Quen. Santana whips Ortiz in but Quen puts him out. Quen fights back, hops up, but Ortiz anchors him! Santana hops up, SUPER RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP! Ortiz steps in for a DDT! Santana dead lifts Quen for a GERMAN SUPELX! Bridging cover but Kassidy stomps it out! Santana protests but he drags Quen up for a backbreaker. Santana bends Quen back and fans boo. Santana clubs Quen down then drags him up for a suplex. Santana holds on, and lifts Quen again, to hold him! Ortiz tags in and gets the hand-off! They keep Quen up and fans have to admit, that’s impressive. Ortiz keeps Quen up for about a count of 10, then Santana tags in to take Quen back!

After about another 10 count, Ortiz tags back in and then again takes Quen back! And finally, a FALCON ARROW! Cover, TWO!! Quen can still think after being upside-down for half a minute or more! Ortiz takes off his gloves and then unzips Quen’s suit to CLAW his back! Quen hits back with big body shots and fans fire up. But Ortiz claws him again! Ortiz grabs Quen’s legs and flips him over for the Boston Crab. Quen endures, but Santana tags in, and climbs up, to leap over and mule kick! And then he brings Quen into a Camel Clutch! It’s the Camel Crab combo from Baltimore! The ref counts and Ortiz finally lets go at 4. Santana makes it a clutch cradle, TWO! Santana sucker punches Kassidy just because! The ref is busy keeping Kassidy back, and Ortiz drags Quen to the corner. But Quen pushes Ortiz away! Ortiz hits the apron, Santana turns around to see what happened, and AEW goes picture in picture again.

Santana runs but Quen boots him away. Quen runs back, but into a tilt-o-whirl backbreaker! Ortiz hops up and leaps, leg drop! Ortiz flexes as PNP have Quen down and writhing. Santana keeps Quen down with a grinding boot into his back. Santana mocks Kassidy wanting to tag in, but drags Quen away to tag Ortiz. Ortiz Northern Lights Quen, bridging cover, TWO! Ortiz drags Quen into a facelock and grinds him down more. Quen endures and fights up but Ortiz flips around to a camel clutch. Ortiz throws a BIG crossface forearm to club Quen down! Ortiz drags Quen back up into the clutch, to clobber him again! “We’re the BEST!” And Ortiz claws Quen again! Ortiz also sucker punches Kassidy for good measure. Ortiz tags in Santana, and they mug Quen in the PNP corner.

Santana tags Ortiz again, and Ortiz brings Quen into a bearhug. AEW returns to single picture as Quen endures the squeeze. The fans rally up and Quen turns the bearhug into a wheelbarrow! Victory roll but Quen instead springs out to tag in Kassidy! Indy explodes but Ortiz avoids the Penalty Kick. Kassidy hits Santana back for those sucker punches! Kassidy hurdles Ortiz, dodges him then slides under to shove and NO HANDS RANA! Kassidy dropkicks Santana away, then “gallops” at Ortiz. Ortiz puts him on the apron but Kassidy counter punches! Santana runs in but gets a mule kick! Kassidy enziguris Ortis and springboard MOONSAULTS onto Santana! Fans are all fired up as Kassidy goes back to the ring. Kassidy feels the energy, slingshot DESTROYER! Cover, but Santana yanks on the ref! The ref reprimands Santana but Quen CANNONBALLS in!

Ortiz rolls Kassidy and throws him at Quen, but the Silly String doesn’t work out because Quen’s back gives out! Ortiz runs in but Kassidy goes up and over. Santana gets in and both Proud ‘n’ Powerful dodge Kassidy, Pop-Up Powerbomb, inverted sunset to a Penalty Kick! Cover, TWO!! Kassidy still lives and the party keeps going! Tag to Santana, and Ortiz drapes Kassidy. Santana runs in, SUPERKICK DRAPING CUTTER! Cover, TWO!?! Proud ‘n’ Powerful can’t believe it! Ortiz distracts the ref as Santana gets the blackjack sock! But Nick Jackson appears to snatch it away! Kassidy SUPERKICKS Ortiz! And enziguris Santana! Kassidy puts Santana up, Quen is in and is able to huricanrana Santana, GIN ‘N’ JUICE!! Cover, Private Party wins!!

Winners: Private Party, Isiah Kassidy pinning

Another huge upset in their careers for Kassidy and Quen! Could they be moving right up into the top three tag teams in the company?

But as payback on Nick, Sammy Guevara throws Nick into the barrier! He’s doing it one-handed as he selfie vlogs the whole thing! But wait, DUSTIN RHODES is here! He gets revenge on the Inner Circle using that cast arm! Sammy springboards in, into an atomic drop! And a cast forearm! Nick and Dustin vlog that! Fans are fired up for the Natural standing tall with Private Party! But is this war with the Inner Circle far from over?

AEW catches up with Kenny Omega.

The Best Bout Machine pumps some iron and finishes up a set. He addresses the fans and says it’s rare that he gets to do something like this. He isn’t really a promo guy, but he wasn’t really known for being a “hardcore guy” either. Yet, he did a lot of strange things, uncharacteristic of who Omega is. But Omega realizes why he’s lost his marbles: losing to PAC. It took that one instant and The Bastard took everything away. Moxley beat up the scraps but it was Pac that started it. Omega and Pac are having their rematch in Chicago, and that could be Omega’s restart button. Tune in for a match you won’t want to miss. Now, good bye and good bench. Michael Nakazawa puts more weight on the bar. Wait, that’s not much actually. Omega still benches, but it’s lopsided… Unconventional to say the least, will Omega make it back to even against Pac in Chicago?

Jon Moxley VS Darby Allin!

Two of the wildest men in AEW and they’re facing off in the main event! The Death Rider put out a challenge to see if anyone was man enough to face him, and the undead underdog turned out to be the one man mad enough to accept! Will the Coffin Drop on Mox? Or will the Paradigm Shift be a dead end?

Moxley barely gets to ringside from the crowd before Darby DIVES! Direct hit sends Moxley into barriers and a brawl is on! Moxley throws Darby into barriers but Darby throws him into the crowd! The match isn’t happening but the fight is on in front of the fans! Fans cheer for “A E DUB! A E DUB!” as the fight heads back towards ringside. Moxley back suplexes but Darby slips out and lands on his feet, to run back in and DIVE! Darby takes Moxley down in front of the fans again, but the referee orders them to get this back to ringside. Moxley doesn’t listen as he rams Darby into barriers at the back. Moxley then fireman’s carries and tosses Darby over the railing! Moxley drags Darby up to ram him into the post! Darby writhes and Moxley paces. Moxley drags Darby up to overhead belly2belly him onto the floor!

Fans are loving this as Moxley paces the ring. Moxley puts Darby in the ring and this match finally begins! Moxley says the ref should check on Darby, but Darby drags himself to a corner. Moxley runs in but Darby boots him back. Fans duel as Darby leaps over and shotgun dropkicks back! Darby throws big forearms, throws Moxley then climbs up, to crossbody! Moxley just lets Darby bounce off him! Then he shotgun BLASTS Darby into buckles! Fans are fired up as Moxley stands on the ropes. Moxley goes back to Darby to TOSS him across the way. My Thoughts:

A wild night to keep things rolling after Full Gear! All the matches were great, but Nick Jackson VS Rey Fenix really surprised me. I think it surprised a lot of fans in Indy, that was incredible. Now obviously, Nick is a great wrestler, as is Matt, they just prefer being purely tag team wrestlers. However, that was definitely all the best Nick related spots of a Young Bucks match all in one. In the end, it is as I figured going into this: Fenix wins because he’s a highly accomplished singles wrestler. Baker VS Shida made for a great unofficial contender’s match. Both were heading for a rematch with Riho, but since Baker got hers a few weeks ago, it makes a lot of sense for Shida to win here. Even without rankings and with Baker’s previous shot at the title, it just made sense for Shida to win as the more experienced wrestler. Riho VS Shida will be great, especially if they use it to close out 2019 before the reported win-loss refresh.

The Dark Order’s “recruitment” vignette was pretty good. It definitely paints them as this cult that wants to take over by manipulating the outcasts towards their cause. What wasn’t great about Jericho’s segments tonight? His stuttering with the word “sorry” and using Hager to say it. That’s actually a great role reversal of muscle and mouth piece. Then SCU using reverse psychology to goad Jericho into the title match was amazing, and so will Scorpio VS Jericho next week. Jurassic Express coming to SCU’s rescue was a great way to tease a literally huge match of Luchasaurus VS Hager, I hope we get to see that. Proud ‘n’ Powerful losing to Private Party was a shocker, and I am loving how all these stories are intermingling because of just how widespread the Inner Circle and even The Elite are.

The Diamond Dozen Battle Royale was a lot of fun, though it is one example from tonight that TV timing is still tricky. That Shawn Spears moment with Janela ended up on commercial, which is a shame. There were also examples of that with things like the Private Party VS PNP match, and even Jericho going around talking to people backstage before his “announcement” segment. Just something that no one can really blame them for, it’s just the reality of live television. MJF VS Hangman is going to be a great match for that Dynamite Diamond Ring, but I really want to hear what the purpose of the ring is going to be. And while Hangman resigned from The Elite via Being The Elite, I hope that story plays out on TV. Cody is back, he’ll want revenge on MJF and Wardlow, and surely he’ll feel compelled to go after them during that Diamond Ring match.

Omega had a great promo, with that weight lifting gag a nice touch for some comedy. Omega VS Pac in Chicago will be great but surely Omega has to win so that he’s not falling off the winning track. Of course, the win-loss refresh might be a thing, since Omega talked about the reset button here. Moxley VS Darby was a great main event! Darby’s body bag entrance was cool, and him going right at Moxley was perfect booking. Darby is crazy enough to rile Moxley up and that just helped escalate everything going on. I really expected some kind of body bag suplex or powerslam, but maybe another time. That SUPER Paradigm Shift was gnarly, though. Moxley is on a roll so of course he wins, and there is no shame in losing for Darby. I wouldn’t be surprised if Darby, as banged up as he is, is crazy enough to ask for another match.

My Score: 9.1/10

QTV gets Dark!

Published

on

QTV is in Universal Studios!

After helping Will Hobbs hold onto the AEW TNT Championship, QT Marshall & Aaron Solo get back in action! Will this be one for the headlines?

OFFICIAL RESULTS

  • AR Fox VS Nick Comoroto; Fox wins.
  • Queen Aminata VS Skye Blue; Skye wins.
  • Evil Uno VS Alexander Moss; Uno wins.
  • Marina Shafir VS Steph De Lander; Shafir wins.
  • Zack Clayton VS Schaff; Clayton wins.
  • Top Flight VS Liam Gray & Adrian Alanis; Top Flight wins.
  • QT Marshall & Aaron Solo w/ Harley Cameron VS Austin Green & Vary Morales; QT & Solo win.
  • Brady Booker VS Serpentico; Brady wins.
  • Konosuke Takeshita VS Cole Karter; Konosuke wins.

QUICK NOTES

A good line-up here. Just as I was wondering where Nick Comoroto was, he’s here on Dark to put AR Fox over. For those unfamiliar, Steph De Lander is formerly Persia Pirotta of NXT, though she has a very different look now, I almost didn’t recognize her. Brady Booker, formerly Bodhi Hayward, is back in action, good to see him. And while most of these matches seem pretty straight forward, I feel like Queen Aminata VS Skye Blue is the one that could go either way. Skye’s been building herself up in AEW and ROH but Aminata is impressive in her own right.

Independence gets Elevated!

The Firm is still in business!

Despite Stokely Hathaway losing on AEW Dynamite, Ethan Page and the team are in action on Elevation! Will business be good for The Firm?

OFFICIAL RESULTS

  • Ari Daivari & Tony Nese w/ Mark Sterling VS Lane Summers & Campbell Myers; Daivari & Nese win.
  • Marina Shafir & Nyla Rose VS The Hale Sisters, Briar & Sage; Shafir & Nyla win.
  • Willow Nightingale VS Maggie Lee; Willow wins.
  • “Big Bill” Morrissey & Lee Moriarty VS Zack Clayton & Anaya; Morrissey & Moriarty win.
  • ROH Women’s World Championship Proving Grounds Match: Athena VS Tootie Lynn; Athena wins and denies Tootie a title opportunity.
  • Six Man Tag: Matt Hardy, Isiah Kassidy & Ethan Page VS Spanish Announce Project; Hardy, Kassidy & Ethan win.
  • Riho VS Diamante; Riho wins.

QUICK NOTES

A good line-up, and I like that all members of The Firm are active after Stokely got beat down by Hook and the Gunns retained their titles. Though, are the Gunns even still affiliated with The Firm? It seems like they just broke off as soon as they got the tag titles. Anyway, good to see Athena in another match ahead of Supercard of Honor this Friday. And good to see Spanish Announce Project (Angelico, Serpentico & Luther) in action as a full trio, but I’m pretty sure they’ll put The Firm over to build Ethan’s momentum into taking on Hook.
