After a little pandemic lethargy; King finds inspiration in the recent events of Raw!

Hey everyone its been months since I’ve been interested enough in pro wrestling to even write. I never thought I’d utter those words but I am. This whole pandemic has really made me put pro wrestling on the back burner for a little bit but I’m back now. I want to quickly share with y’all on the hot topics from this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw.

3. ALL HAIL ROLLINS

To start things off, let me first explain how terrific Seth Rollins’ new “Monday Night Messiah” gimmick truly is. It’s one of the most captivating characters on the show. Rollins is nailing it out of the park with his prophetic promos and despicable actions. Adding a young up-and-coming superstar into his pack is a positive step.

2. FINALLY THE ALMIGHTY

Seriously, this is a long time coming for “The Almighty” Bobby Lashley. Ever since he came back to the WWE back in 2018 I’ve been waiting for him to get a heavyweight championship title shot. Now that he’s under the guidance of MVP he will challenge Drew McIntyre at Backlash.

Lashley in my opinion should’ve already been champion, he had a real shot at facing Brock Lesnar in 2018 but WWE dropped the ball. They wanted Roman Reigns to be “The Guy” that the former Impact multi-champion was brushed off to the side. Now, I don’t believe McIntyre will lose the title this soon after winning it at Mania, but Lashley just moving up to that level is long overdue.

1.CREWS IS CHAMPION

Apollo freaking Crews is your new United States Champion! I am beyond excited about this because I’ve been a huge fan of Crews for a long time. He’s one of a kind with his agility and pure strength he could be a future heavyweight champion. The only thing he lacks is mic skills. He’s got the charisma and the raw talent, WWE just needs to book him to be a credible superstar.

Crews made his main roster debut back in 2016 and has been drowning in the sea since. Crews winning the US Title is a huge step for his young career. Now all he needs is fresh opponents and challengers after Andrade gets his rematch. Perhaps, Theory could step up and challenge Crews setting up a fantastic feud.

There you have it, folks, those are my quick hits from Raw this week. I apologize it’s been a long time since I’ve written but hopefully this a fresh start in the right direction!
