These aren’t leftovers, this is desert! AEW serves up seven matches to fill you up for Monday! Will The Dark Order shut down the Hardy Family Office?

QUICK NOTES

Definitely a packed episode for just seven matches. The Premier Athlete looks to build momentum towards his TNT Championship match with Sammy Guevara while Lethal is rebounding from his loss. The big tag matches are going to be a lot of fun, especially with the 8 Woman Tag having Mizunami in it.

AFTER WATCHING

The 8 Woman Tag being the opener was a bit of a surprise, but it was a very fun match, as I expected. The Heels of that match definitely makes a great group, even if Bunny is part of The Hardy Family Office at the moment. Speaking of, I find it odd that the Hardy Family Office was Hardy, Isiah Kassidy & The Blade and not one of the established teams within the faction. They have a good match and win against Uno, Stu & Angels, I kinda hope HFO VS Dark Order as a feud also circles back to the feud Hardy had with Hangman Page. Nice to see Nese has that entrance tron now. Pump handle piledriver is a pretty good finisher for him to change things up from the “Running Kneese.”

Great rap from Caster again, great choice making the 8 Man Tag the main event. Another fun match, everyone got their shine, and fans really love John Silver. He and Reynolds should at least get their tag title shot at some point.

A good line-up here. Just as I was wondering where Nick Comoroto was, he’s here on Dark to put AR Fox over. For those unfamiliar, Steph De Lander is formerly Persia Pirotta of NXT, though she has a very different look now, I almost didn’t recognize her. Brady Booker, formerly Bodhi Hayward, is back in action, good to see him. And while most of these matches seem pretty straight forward, I feel like Queen Aminata VS Skye Blue is the one that could go either way. Skye’s been building herself up in AEW and ROH but Aminata is impressive in her own right.

A good line-up, and I like that all members of The Firm are active after Stokely got beat down by Hook and the Gunns retained their titles. Though, are the Gunns even still affiliated with The Firm? It seems like they just broke off as soon as they got the tag titles. Anyway, good to see Athena in another match ahead of Supercard of Honor this Friday. And good to see Spanish Announce Project (Angelico, Serpentico & Luther) in action as a full trio, but I’m pretty sure they’ll put The Firm over to build Ethan’s momentum into taking on Hook.
