QUICK NOTES

Ah yes, Dark is back to doing big episodes again, but I imagine this one will be a lot of fun. For one, Bear Country is ditching that name to become “The Iron Savages,” so perhaps this is their Heel turn. They might even go from “Bear” Bronson and “Bear” Boulder to like, “Iron” Bronson and “Iron” Boulder. And it seems The Trustbusters keep on growing as they’ve now added VSK to the group. Honestly, I’m surprised they haven’t been more on the nose by adding Invictus Khash and Cash Flo. But with that many members, Trustbusters can already attempt to expand out of the Trios Division into the various midcard title spots.

Good to see The Renegade Sisters/Twins doing more work in AEW. AEW has a strong women’s division, even to where they can bring back those AEW Women’s Tag Team Medals if they wanted, but that’s still the problem there: Does AEW (Tony Khan) want to? And good to see the former Wesley Blake show up. He’ll certainly lose to Garcia but probably with a good showing.

AFTER WATCHING

Wow, how awesome that a women’s match is the main event of this long episode of Dark. And Britt Baker shows up to call her out in a classic Cleveland VS Pittsburgh feud, resulting in a brawl. Maybe KiLynn King will be given some momentum in the division since a big name like Kris Statlander is out with injury. And it is of note that VSK is now “Jeeves D.K.” while part of the Trustbusters, because he is Daivari’s butler. Pretty hilarious, but I was kinda hoping this was another of Daivari’s “investments” in promising wrestlers. But hey, being a cornerman means getting on screen so that’s good enough for VSK.
