QUICK NOTES

A good line-up, and I really like the practically dream match level match-up of Bandido VS Christopher Daniels. Good to see a lot of other names in action, such as Brian Cage and Will Hobbs. I’ve also probably been missing out on some story they’re building for the Vicious Vixens. Sometimes, Vickie is out there with Shafir & Nyla, sometimes it’s just Shafir & Nyla. If AEW could actually get their booking of the women’s division the way they claim they want it, we’d be seeing a women’s tag division and we’d be seeing the Vicious Vixens dominating it. And of course, good to see the House of Black in action while also seeing Kingston & Ortiz in action amidst their distrust character arc.

I almost thought Athena was going to be defending her title but maybe two ROH titles would be too much for one Elevation. She’ll still win, and I hope we see someone step up to be her next challenger. And Claudio really should be getting on that workhorse and defending this title. Woods is a great athlete, he’ll give Claudio a great match, but Claudio is definitely retaining. Woods isn’t world title tier yet, and Elevation is not where to put an ROH title change when Honor Club is starting back up.

Another surprisingly short line-up for Dark, with a couple matches that could go either way. The Iron Savages, formerly Bear Country, and the Wingmen will be a good one, but I’m leaning towards Bronson & Boulder winning that. Kiera Hogan VS Leila Grey, former Baddie taking on Jade’s last sidekick standing, could also go either way, but I’m leaning towards Kiera. But it’ll be good to see Robyn & Charlette Renegade get a win here to build that unofficial Women’s Tag Division AEW has.
