AJ Lee Might Return To TV, But We Want Her In A WWE Ring

Former WWE superstar AJ Lee, who can count herself among those who paved the way for the current Women’s Revolution/Evolution (depends on which moniker they’ve given it on any given day), might be returning to the small screen, but in a different capacity than we’d hope.

AJ Lee’s popular book, Crazy Is My Superpower, is being developed into a potential television show. If you know anything about AJ’s background you know a television show inspired by her story sounds quite entertaining, and not only for wrestling fans either–AJ is a perfect inspiration for young girls looking follow their dreams, and is really an inspiration for many more than that.

But The Chairshot is a wrestling website, and we want to see AJ Lee back in a WWE ring. AJ paved the way for the current women’s division, and few deserve the spotlight it provides more than her. This notion comes a day after speculating about her husband, CM Punk, returning as part of an event being produced in 2018 by Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks.

Furthermore, who wouldn’t want to see AJ Lee as surprise entrant in the 2018 WWE Women’s Royal Rumble, or wearing either the Raw or Smackdown Women’s Championship?

Could a return to television, and more specifically a need to promote a TV show based on her life, spark a return to the ring (if even temporarily)?
