2017 was a year full of amazing performances, and performers, throughout professional wrestling. The Chairshot’s own Greg DeMarco and Patrick O’Dowd came together to determine who deserved the honors for their efforts. That decision is never easy, but the fellas came together to select wrestling’s Man Of The Year, Woman Of The Year, and Tag Team of The Year.

The Chairshot Man Of The Year:

Holding one of the most revered championships in all of professional wrestling, the Intercontinental Championship, The Miz made this all-time favorite an important title again. He did it in the ring, and on the microphone. When WWE needed someone to carry Raw in the absence of a world champion, The Miz got the call to move over to the red brand and delivered in a huge way. When they needed someone to push a storyline that allowed John Cena to propose to Nikki Bella at WrestleMania, they called upon The Miz. Who was the catalyst for the reunion of The Shield? The Miz.

One of the best heels in all of pro wrestling, you can easily expect The Miz to get a monster pop when he returns from filming the latest installment of The Marine. And you can be guaranteed that The Miz will turn the crowd against him in record time.

Miz, we bow to you as The Chairshot Man Of The Year for 2017.
