Matt Hardy Reveals #WOKEN Character On WWE Raw
During Monday’s broadcast of WWE Raw on the USA Network, Matt Hardy debuted his “#WOKEN” character during a dueling promo with Bray Wyatt. The promo was shown on the arena big screen, but still elicited a tremendous reaction from the Staples Center crowd in Los Angeles.
Many thought we’d never see the Matt Hardy’s Broken Brilliance character surface in WWE, but when Anthem stopped pursuing the copyright for the gimmick (and later revealed that stars can use other Impact Wrestling gimmicks away from the company in the future) it became apparent that fans would finally get their wish.
