Attitude Of Aggression: WWE For The Week Plus NXT Takeover Philly!

Royal Rumble weekend is in full swing but before we get there we have NXT Takeover: Philadelphia to discuss. Episode 214 has a special focus on the first Takeover of 2018 while also setting the table for the Royal Rumble on the Smackdown Live side of the ledger.

We begin by recapping Smackdown Live. Taking place the night after Raw 25, the odd relationship between Daniel Bryan, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn continued to evolve, much t0 the chagrin of the WWE Champ AJ Styles. Whjat does it all mean? The MIxed/Match Challenge this week saw The MIz and Asuka advance by defeating Carmella and Big E. In the wake of the Enzo Amore controversy, 205 Live found itself without a champion, but with a GM going to be named next week. With opportunity the operative word, the Cruiserweights really delivered on this episode including a lights out match between Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali.
