Impact Wrestling Brings Back 4-Sided Ring
In a picture released today, Impact Wrestling is going back to using a 4-sided ring. The company has gone through several names, and each one usually featured a change from 6-sides to 4-sides, and back.
Within the wrestling business, 4-sided rings are usually preferred by talent and are regarded as “better bumping rings.” They are also easier to deal with from an production standpoint.

Leon Slater Pulled From WrestleCon Ricochet Match, Promoter Responds
Leon Slater had been announced for a dream match with Ricochet at the WrestleCon Mark Hitchcock Memorial Supershow during WrestleMania weekend, but was pulled from the card last week with TNA citing “partner conflicts,” disappointing fans who were anticipating the bout. The removal came as a surprise given the high-profile billing for the event.
WrestleCon promoter Michael Bochicchio told Post Wrestling’s John Pollock and Wai Ting that Slater was not scheduled to lose to Ricochet and that WrestleCon had no communication with TNA regarding the decision to pull Slater from the show. Bochicchio’s comments raise questions about how the situation was handled and what led to the last-minute change.
