WrestleMania 34 is right around the corner and the Monster Among Men appears to not have a dance partner. With Angle seemingly teaming with Rousey, Balor and Rollins with Miz, and Reigns with Lesnar, Strowman is left alone.

If you remember Meltzer reported The Miz was penciled in to defend his Intercontinental Title against Braun Strowman at WrestleMania as Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar battle in their own Universal Title angle. However you never know if WWE could change things around because it appears they’ve already made some switches.

Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio. “Strowman is obviously based on what happened there, Strowman is the backup plan if something happens — you know I don’t know if they’re gonna go with a 3-way at Mania with Strowman in there with Reigns and Brock Lesnar but it something happens with Lesnar, obviously, it’s Roman Reigns vs Braun Strowman it’s the only match you can put in that spot.”.

My Thoughts:

While Strowman appears to be in a holding pattern, I wouldn’t bank on it being due to Reigns allegations. I never believed he was facing Miz at WrestleMania. However what are his options other than the unlikely Universal Title match? He could be added to the Andre Battle Royal and eliminate every superstar, maybe he battles a returning Samoa Joe, I just don’t believe he gets added to the Universal Title Match. Although they did plant the seeds if they decide to go that route. By having him attack Reigns after the chamber match, they can easily shift. At this time put me down for him winning and dominating the Andre Battle Royal.
