Bayley-Sasha Banks Update, Potential Heel Turn Cancelled?

Dave Meltzer has stated that Bayley was already supposed to have turned heel by now in her feud with Sasha Banks. She was even originally scheduled to team with Elias against Nikki Bella and John Cena at WWE’s live event at Madison Square Garden. However Bayley was replaced by Sonya Deville at the big event.

Meltzer goes on to note that the original plans were for Bayley to be a heel at this point in her feud with Sasha. It is unclear if the heel turn has been scrapped or if it is just being delayed. Bayley and Sasha were originally supposed to have to a singled match according to multiple outlets, many believe this was canceled due to the Women’s Battle Royal.

My Thoughts:

While many believe they want to see a heel Bayley, it’s tougher to do than you would think. However if the plan truly is to turn Bayley heel, then it would be better done as a WrestleMania moment and not on a Raw leading up to WrestleMania. If this is the plan then them being in the Battle Royal is actually better for them than a singles match, at this time.
