New Report Suggests Brock Lesnar Is Leaving WWE After WrestleMania

The Wrap recently did an article that spoke about both Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar’s contract. Heyman’s contract also terminates after WrestleMania and as we reported earlier he has started a new television project following WrestleMania. This could be a sign of Lesnar’s decision, this is what the Wrap is reporting:

Lesnar is set to depart WWE again for the “realer” fighting of the UFC. This doesn’t mean Heyman is walking away from WWE with Lesnar after WrestleMania 34, though that remains an unrelated possibility. Heyman’s contract is also up then, but the ECW founder and former play-by-play guy could still be teamed up with another Superstar, with MMA convert Ronda Rousey as the lead option. Roman Reigns, Lesnar’s opponent at the so-called “Super Bowl of Sports Entertainment,” is another candidate to be paired with Heyman’s gift of gab.

My Thoughts:

Please take all Lesnar speculation with a grain of salt. All sides are leaking info and it’s for contract leverage. WWE is in the midst of TV contract talks and would not want to see Lesnar walk away. On the flip side Lesnar is already on the other side of peak age for MMA and has a lengthy suspension should he choose to return. I’m still betting Lesnar stays at a number close to what he makes now, on a 2 year deal.
