Potential Tag Partner For Braun Strowman At WrestleMania

Justin Barrasso is reporting that former WWE champion Rey Mysterio is a potential partner for Braun Strowman’s Wrestlemania tag team title match.

According to the report, two separate sources claimed Vince McMahon himself is ‘strongly considering’ Mysterio as Strowman’s tag team partner. However Mysterio is currently out with a minor bicep injury.  It was noted that Mysterio would likely sign a short-term deal if he did return, and the idea of the match would be the ‘biggest’ (Braun) and the ‘smallest’ (Rey) superstars working together.

This conflicts with the idea of Mysterio staying with NJPW. Will Ospreay challenged Mysterio to a match at the Strong Style Evolved event. It’s unknown if there are plans for that match.

My Thoughts:

I don’t believe this at all. While I could see Vince salivating over the “big guy” “small guy” idea. I don’t think they want to bank on an injury guy. Two names I believe it could be is, Big Cass or Neville. I’m pretty sure you could do the “big guy” “small guy” thing with Neville, don’t you?
