Potential WWE Universal Title Feud For This Summer
Dave Meltzer is reporting that the current plan for this summer is for Roman Reigns to defend the Universal Title against Samoa Joe. Reigns is slated to challenge and defeat Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title at WrestleMania 34.
It was also noted that Meltzer believes that Samoa Joe is cleared to return to in-ring action after suffering his latest injury.
My Thoughts:
This is certainly something that I would be completely excited about. The two haven’t yet had a proper feud and have great chemistry. Joe brings an aggression in the ring and on the microphone that would make for a great opponent for Reigns. This is definitely something that makes sense although not something I would bank on 100%.
