It has been noted that Joe has been removed from all WWE live events until after WrestleMania. This is due to a foot injury that has been nagging Joe. He hasn’  had surgery however has been required to miss significant time. He is not listed for any WWE events until the European tour in May. This could simply be a precaution and he could always be added if he’s cleared to return to action before then, as cards are always “subject to change”. In an interview on Booker T’s Heated Conversationspodcast, Joe said that his return to the ring is “a week to week thing.” Earlier today on his Instagram, Joe posted some art of himself holding the WWE Universal Championship with the caption, “Soon.”

My Thoughts:

If I’m WWE and Joe can go at Wrestlemania, he is my opponent for Strowman. You can easily have it where the winner faces the new champion. He could also be added to an already loaded Intercontinental Title picture as well. Joe is such a versatile individual and you would have to believe wants that WrestleMania match and pay check. I would absolutely love to see him back on the road to WrestleMania in any kind of capacity. Sign me up for a Joe vs. Strowman match or him being added to the Intercontinental Title picture. If not maybe he will be a post WrestleMania surprise return.
