Smackdown Live Notes Bryan Fires Owens And Zayn, US Title Match Announced For WrestleMania

This week’s Smackdown Live in Dallas, Texas at the American Airlines Center was special. Daniel Bryan has been cleared as an in ring performer however needed to deal with the prior weeks fall out. SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan announced that Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have been “fired” from WWE. This led to Owens and Zayn beating down Bryan in the ring to close the show.

The United States Title Match has been set for WrestleMania. It will feature the former champion, the current champion and a former WWE champion. WWE announced a triple threat match for the show of shows and it would be Orton defending against both Mahal and Roode. Here is the announcement and comments from the challengers.
