UFC Star Fabrico Werdum Meeting With WWE

PWInsider is reporting UFC star Fabricio Werdum told MMA Fighting that he will be holding a meeting with WWE in San Diego. He spoke of wanting to be active in UFC and WWE at the same time, which other than Brock Lesnar, has never happened.

Werdum, 40, is a well decorated MMA fighter.  The Brazilian jiu-jitsu specialist is a former UFC Heavyweight champion.

I have to wonder if this is a power play by WWE or if it’s showing how Lesnar negotiations are going. This also shows me that WWE maybe all in on moving to FOX, who understands the value of these large UFC stars (Rousey, Werdum). A part of me feels this is WWE telling Brock to take less because we can replace you. The other side of me is wondering if they are just happy with how things have worked with Lesnar and Rousey so far. This is only good for WWE and wondering how this helps them moving forward, not only with a TV deal but also Lesnar negotiations.
