Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that if Chris Jericho returns to WWE this year, it likely will not be until the end of the summer.

He is also likely working the NJPW Dominion event in June, and then has another Fozzy tour of Europe for July and through mid-August. This could lead to a big fall push for Jericho in WWE, with a possible Survivor Series main event.

Dave Meltzer has also stated in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that
Keith Lee and WALTER have been offered spots by the WWE starting in May to begin training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

Lee and WALTER are considered by many fans as two of the best big men going today. The belief within the indie world is Lee is taking the deal since he’s turned down dates after that point. Also worth nothing is Keith Lee took a contract with Evolve over ROH, Evolve has a great relationship with WWE.

My Thoughts:

WWE will never have enough big men and Keith Lee LOOKS like someone HHH and Vince would love. He’s versatile and good in ring but most importantly he has a great look. For Jericho I believe he likely shows interest with WWE again especially if he can land a huge main event. With Leaner potentially leaving and Jericho being a hot name after his “five star” bout in New Japan, he could potentially demand more than normal from Vince. This is assuming NJPW can’t woo him and possibly have him face Okada next year.
