Former WWE star Shad Gaspard was backstage at this week’s episode of SmackDown Live in Los Angeles, CA at the Staples Center. It appears this past week was a rather busy week backstage. Also Shad brought his son, which had to be a blast for the little one.

Lana and Rusev again took to Twitter on Tuesday night and sent out some interesting tweets. While Lana didn’t appear on the show, Rusev was at ringside for Aiden English’s match against Shinsuke Nakamura. If you recall last week Rusev and Lana were both left off the show, and they stated it was “dully noted”. The two have been teasing a potential reunion for week.

My Thoughts:

It’s always cool to see his the superstars react with kids. While we always complain and agonize over booking, storylunes, angles and pushes, kids just want to see what’s next. I bet every superstar dapped up, hugged or shook little Gaspard’s hand. Rusev and Lana have now tweeted for two weeks teasing of “togetherness”. If you have followed me long enough than you know I’m a fan of this. I would possibly run this until Wrestlemania, where Rusev wins the Andre Battle Royal and have Lana come and congratulate him. This could lead to a real Wrestlemania moment for the two that could also be played out on Total Divas, as well as give the fans a special moment for their Bulgarian hero.
