John Cena vs. Undertaker WrestleMania Update

Stop me if you have heard this before however there is more news to Cena and Undertaker. Dave Meltzer has reported that Vince McMahon believes that the audience knows that The Undertaker will be showing up at WrestleMania. With that being said Vince has decided not to announce Undertaker however allow him to get revenege on Sunday. Dave goes on to note, that announcing the match in advance won’t lead to additional network subscription purchases. The source said that the storyline is Vince’s and he’s happy with it, and that, “I think part of it is that Vince McMahon can say, ‘people are invested in the mere chance Undertaker will show up!”‘

It’s unknown at this time if the Cena – Undertaker segment at WrestleMania will be an actual match or a confrontation. However it’s possible they to build to a bout next year. Dave Meltzer noted that this match was planned several months ago.

My Thoughts:

Vince has done a year long build with John Cena before. Is it possible that he does it again with WrestleMania 35 in Vince’s backyard? While MetLife isn’t Madison Square Garden it is New York/New Jersey. I completely believe this could setup a match…. for next year, where we finally get the payoff.
