Reason For Paige’s Absence This Week On SmackDown Live
After announcing her retirement from in-ring competition on the RAW after WrestleMania two weeks, WWE Superstar Paige was surprisingly named the new SmackDown Live General Manager the following night, taking Daniel Bryan’s role after he was cleared to return to action. We haven’t seen much of Paige since, only having one segment on the show last week. This week, the former multi-time Divas Champion was noticeably absent from the program, however no explanation was ever given.
Paige’s brother, Roy Knight, posted the following photo on Twitter yesterday, indicating that ‘The Anti-Diva’ was back home in England visiting family. It’s believed that Paige will be back on SmackDown Live next week.
