When Was Paige Told She Would Be GM, Who Made The Decision

According to Bryan Alvarez, the Paige decision was made on Tuesday before Smackdown Live. Alvarez even went on to speculate that Paige may have not known on Monday night when she gave her retirement speech that she would be announced as the new general manager the next day.

Alvarez comments below:

“On Monday Paige did her retirement promo and in her promo, she pretty much said you’re not gonna see me again. Like I’m outa here. Then the next day she was the SmackDown GM,” Alvarez said. “That decision was made on Tuesday. It was a very, very last minute decision.”
