Who Was Braun Strowman’s Partner At WrestleMania? Details On Nicholas

If you didn’t catch last night’s big WWE WrestleMania 34 event from the Superdome in New Orleans, we finally learned the identity of Braun Strowman’s tag partner in his match against The Bar for the RAW Tag Titles. Instead of being joined by another WWE Superstar, Strowman went out into the crowd and chose a young fan named Nicholas to challenge for the championships. Braun & Nicholas would emerge victorious, but many people have been left wondering who exactly Nicholas is.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Nicholas is the son of longtime WWE referee John Cone and is not a Make-A-Wish kid as some fans had speculated.

EA’s Take: I really hated this whole thing, but that’s neither here nor there. I was of the impression that Nicholas was a random fan or a Make-A-Wish kid as well, but as soon as he reached out for a tag and actually entered the match, that’s when it was obvious that it was a set-up.
